Society for Innovation and Development(SID) is a Society founded by IISc in 1997 to promote collaboration with the Industry. SID today is a well-known, domain agnostic, deep science incubation centre that focusses on incubating IP-based, Deep Science startups. Currently, SID has a portfolio of over 30 startups spread across various domains such as Agri-Tech, Bio-Tech, Space-Tech, Clean-Tech, Medical Devices, Life Sciences etc. Some of our past startups include the likes of Strand LifeSciences, Mymo Wireless, PathShodh Healthcare Pvt Ltd etc.
Established in 2002, NSRCEL - the start-up hub at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), is sector agnostic and has incubated over 225 start-ups, created over 5400+ jobs and associated with roughly 46,000 entrepreneurs since its inception. NSRCEL brings together Start-ups, Industry mentors, Eminent academicians, Researchers and Alumni of IIMB to create a unique ecosystem specially tailored for early-stage ventures.

India's marginalized producers battle formidable odds to eke out a fragile livelihood.
Established in 2005, Access Livelihoods Consulting India (ALC India) is a social enterprise that partners with more than 65,000 marginalized producers, including small and marginal farmers, weavers, tribals, and small livestock holders.
To such producers, ALC India offers professional services that they can use to turn the odds in their favour and build livelihoods that are more certain, rewarding, and sustainable. As part of this effort, ALC India
- incubates enterprises that the communities own, typically cooperatives or producer companies and
- develops producers’ technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills, as they move to become an entrepreneur.
Amrita TBI is a non-profit startup incubator supported by Govt. of India and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham that funds, mentors and nurtures ideas, startups and entrepreneurs.
Amrita TBI runs multiple programs including Scaled Incubator program, Amrita TBI Accelerator program, Amrita TBI PitchFest and Amrita TBI StartupHub.
It has built a strong network of world-class mentors and partners such as SAP Startup Studio, TATA Communications, Indian Angel Network, VenturEast, International Accelerator etc. to help startups scale nationally and internationally. Discounted services from multiple partners, GST exemption of upto Rs. 50 Lakhs per year for a period of 3 years are other benefits provided to the incubatees.
Centre for Cellular And Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative of Dept of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, with a mandate to be an enabler of cutting edge Life Science Research and Innovation. Bio-incubator at C-CAMP has in the last few years emerged as a thriving hub for innovation with a vibrant ecosystem. It has interacted with over 500 inventors and entrepreneurs and encouraged them to translate their inventions into innovation. Furthermore, C-CAMP has engaged quite extensively with entrepreneurs before and after incorporation of their ventures, through its bio-incubation and mentorship program.
C-CAMP's entrepreneurial activities include providing high-end laboratory space and infrastructure through Bio-incubation, providing Seed funding through Grant and Equity based funding to start-ups, providing scientific and business mentorship through the Mentorship program & Accelerator Program and raising national entrepreneurship awareness and entrepreneurship facilitation through the BREC (BIRAC Regional Entrepreneurship Centre) Program.
TREC-STEP, one of the Established Incubation Centres of AIM, is one of the first Business Incubators, promoted in the country, in 1986, as a multi-stakeholder organization, by the Department of Science and Technology, DST, Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu, Central and State Financial Institutions and others. TREC-STEP has always been a pioneering ‘Development Lab’ for piloting almost all impactful Business incubation initiatives and innovation schemes across the country, working with the Government of India and also successfully implementing novel developmental Projects with the World Bank, UN Organizations, EU, etc.
TREC-STEP provides a spectrum of Start-up incubation services to aspiring youth of the country, which addresses every phase of start-up growth, from idea to global performance. TREC-STEP has also mentored many incubators in the country and abroad, as the Founder President of the Indian Science Parks and Business Incubators Association, ISBA, as well as the Honorary President of the Asian Association of Business Incubation, AABI.
